As I recall Cherie's very first Chainsaw Carving was Sea Turtles and she won an award for that too!
She was off to a GRRREAT start, for sure!
I am continually amazed at what she can do with that chainsaw of hers!

Your photo is a little dark but I can tell it's another cool masterpiece by the Chainsaw Chick!

I like anything with sea turtles but that's amazingly beautiful. Did you go to California or did Cherie ship it to you?

She shipped it to me. I live on Jupiter Beach in Florida. We get turtle nests here almost everyday. I also live down the road from a marine life rehabilitation center.

Cherie's detail is really amazing. She is quite the artist.

Before Cherie got into the chainsaw carving she was creating other beautiful
works of art, including relief carvings such as Midnight Flight.
